Boys and girls from the age of 8 through their completion of high school are eligible to participate in the Young Marine program. The official youth drug use reduction program of the United States Marine Corps. The Young Marines is a 501(c) (3) Tax Exempt youth organization whose mission is to promote the mental, moral and physical development of young Americans.
All of its activities emphasize the importance of honesty, courage, respect, loyalty, dependability and a sense of devotion to God, community and family. Your generous contribution will help a youngster, whose family might be financially unable, to enter the Young Marine program and, further, to support the unit's activities and programs.

The Standish Sportsman's Association of East Bridgewater has generously supported the Old Colony Young Marines over the past several years. In addition to helping the unit financially, the Standish Sportsman Association has welcomed Old Colony Young Marines and allowed us to set up an information booth, and sell baked goods during their annual Sportsman's Show. This club has also hosted the Young Marines over several overnight trips, and firearms safety and marksmanship classes.
